Bookstore Offers Rentable Textbooks This Fall

Starting this fall, students will be able to rent textbooks from the University of Hartford Bookstore as part of Follett’s Rent-A-Text program.
Rent-A-Text can save students more than 50 pecent on the price of new textbooks. It also allows students:
– to rent books in-store and online; online purchases will be available for in-store pickup and return
– to choose a preferred form of payment, including financial aid and campus cards
– the freedom to highlight and take notes all within the normal wear and tear associated with coursework
– the option to buy their textbook at the end of the term if they want to keep the book.

"Investing Real Money" Course is Offered Again This Fall
	Applied Financial Analysis and Investments (BAR 510/511) will be offered again in Fall 2010. This is the course where the students decide where to invest $250,000 of the University's endowment. Study Abroad in Dubai This Winter

For winter term 2010/2011, the Barney will again offer IB 610 (Regional International Business Studies – Dubai) with a trip to Dubai as a graduate business elective. The course will focus on understanding and doing business in the Gulf region of the Middle East. Successful trips to Dubai were led by Dr. Steven Congden for the past three winter terms.
