Dr. Coleman serves on the University of Hartford’s Strategic Planning Committee and, in that capacity, provides economic analyses and forecasts throughout the year.
Education:
She received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and received Masters degrees from both Penn State and the University of Connecticut. Dr. Coleman received her doctorate from Pace University in 1989 and was named Outstanding Doctoral Student for that year.
Research Interests:
Her research interests include access to capital for women-owned and minority-owned businesses.
Professional Activities:
She is active in the Hartford Area Business Economists and served as the President of that group from 1999 to 2000.
