Narendar Sumukadas has an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, an M.B.A., and a Ph.D..  Prior to pursuing his graduate degrees, he worked as an engineer in the Indian process industry for over six years in the operations, maintenance, and projects areas.  He has been at the University of Hartford since 1999, teaching undergraduate, MBA, and executive MBA courses in Operations Management.

B.Tech., Kakatiya University, Warangal, India.

Research Interests and Working Papers
Continuous improvement.  Employee involvement.  Supply chain management.  Teaching and learning.

Currently working on adopting a value chain approach to examining the drivers of a company’s delivery flexibility.
