Mr. Hogan has served over two years as an adjunct faculty member of the University of Hartford and has over three years teaching experience at Briarwood College.  His primary focus of teaching is advanced accounting practice & theory, advanced auditing topics, accounting concepts for MBA candidates, and performance analysis.

Education:
M.S. in Accounting and Taxation, Barney School of Business, University of Hartford, January 2005
B.S. in Business Administration with concentration in accounting, Barney School of Business, University of Hartford, September 1982

Business Experience:

Mr. Hogan has over 20 years of accounting and auditing experience and is Chief Audit Executive at Aix Holdings, Inc., a specialty insurance holding company located in Windsor, Connecticut.  Before that, Mr. Hogan served as Chief Financial Officer of Orion Capital’s Connecticut Specialty Division and Chief Auditor of Orion Capital, Inc. Mr. Hogan has also served as an Audit Manager at the Hartford office of KPMG / Peat Marwick.

Professional Qualification:

Mr. Hogan holds a Certified Public Accounting Certificate registered in the State of Connecticut.
