Dr. Morgan has taught for 28 years at U of H, Illinois Institute of Technology, Suffolk University, Northeastern University. Her primary teaching focus is in creating learning environments that are conducive to student-directed learning (e.g., experiential activities, creative projects, practicum work, simulations).
She has served as Vice President of the MIT Alumni/ae Association Board of Directors, member of the MIT Alumni/ae Association National Selection Committee, and member of the vestry of Grace Episcopal Church, Hartford. Her MIT service also includes terms as President, VP-Programs and Board member of the MIT Club of Hartford. She has worked with Charter Oak State College for over 20 years, serving as a consulting faculty member, chair of various committees and Dean of the Faculty.

Research Interests:
Organizational storytelling, learning environments, home community. Papers in process focus on reciprocal storytelling (boss and employee), experiential education, and developing home community in professional associations.

Dr. Morgan is Past President and a Fellow of ABSEL (the Association for Business Simulation and Experiential Learning) and a member of the Eastern Academy of Management, and the Organizational Behavior Teaching Society
Consultancies:
She consults on organization transition and change, management and leadership development, team-building, and creating learning environments. Her research work centers on organization change, storytelling, experiential learning, knowledge management, community-building in the workplace, and developing groups and teams as learning organizations.
Clients include NEAAPA, CT Bankers Association, General Foods, Daubert Coated Products, Helene Curtis, The Institute of Living, National Institutes of Health, Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Itek, the Forum Corporation, Southern CT State University, University of Cincinnati.
