Admission to the Barney School is competitive and selective. Requirements for admission vary by program. Choose one of the program links above for detailed program information and specific admissions criteria.

Admission to Barney School Graduate programs are on a rolling basis. This means that there are no application deadlines and we review applications on a continuous basis. However, it is important to submit your materials early, since there are a limited number of students accepted each fall semester. We recommend domestic students submit application material at least 1 month prior to the start of a semester. International students are advised to begin submitted materials at least 3-6 months prior to the semester. Prospective students in the process of completing applications may enroll in one graduate course as a non matriculated student. To qualify for this course you must submit all admission documents required.

All candidates must submit the following:
(1) A completed application form (2) $45.00 Application fee ($60.00 International students), (3) Official transcripts of all previous baccalaureate and graduate study, (4) Two letters of recommendation, (5) Letter of Intent, (6) Current resume, (7) The results on the Graduate Management Admissions Test, and (8) International students must submit TOEFL scores and a Guarantor's Statement of Financial Support
