Hartford's 31 year-old program has benefitted from its involvement with the Spencer Education Foundation. The program has even been the beneficiary of the Foundation's "Risk Manager in Residence" award for the past 10 years, giving the program high visibility within the university and around the community. Graduate students are offered the unique opportunity of measuring risk the high-tech way-using @Risk and RISKOptimizer computer software programs.
