Dr. Coleman Quoted in the Washington Post
Susan Coleman, the Ainsley Professor of Finance in the Barney School of Business, was quoted in an article in the Sunday (April 13) edition of the Washington Post.
The article looked at the growing number of college students who are burdened with credit card debt, and the aggressive marketing techniques that credit card companies use on college campuses.
Coleman said that students need to educate themselves about their rights and responsibilities as credit card holders. Before they get credit cards, she said, they should do their research on which cards offer the best interest rates and payment terms, and the lowest penalties.
